I've heard that people prefer small guilds so they can get to know each other better. Is this reasonable? What do you like for guild size?

Solving this problem can be rather easy.
As soon as a few members have united, they will surely declare their collective interests. Then everything else will adjusted correspondingly.

In order to make sure the same counts for member invitation, there should be very strict rules concerning new invitations or applications. Each of them should need to be voted over in the guild's forum and discussed if there is no definite majority, or dropped.

Thus, most problems would be prevented in advance. And any that there are should simply be put up for discussion.

However, it does make things more fun if there is a preset law concerning the guild's aims and what state must be preserved in order to grant their realisation.

Ipersonally prefer large guilds as they allow the guild leader to create large sections within the group to delgate responsibilities so i n a guildwith a 100 or so members a galleon or guild keep can be built in seconds.
